Karen and John welcome you to their eighteenth century house in the unusual town of Hay-on-Wye at the foot of the Black Mountains. The River Wye flows past the bottom of its beautiful garden and yet Tinto House is just two minute’s walk from the Castle and bookshops, the pubs and restaurants of Hay, a hidden sanctuary away from the bustle of the town. We are seconds from the quiet, unspoilt banks of the river or from a walk along Offa’s Dyke up to Hay Bluff or north towards Hergest Ridge.
